Benefits of Trust Membership 

In the early days we can promise you no other benefit than that of knowing that you are a member of a Trust that is working hard to keep a beautiful part of our heritage in the public domain. We will, of course keep you updated on progress and Trust Members will be encouraged to take an active interest in what we are doing. There will, however, be no pressure to do anything other than pay your subscription if that is your preference.

In phase two our Trust Members will be the first to know about events and we plan to ensure that they will be entitled to some discounts on ticket prices, any entrance fees etc..

The details of these have yet to be worked out and Trust Membership fees will be kept under review to ensure optimum benefit to both the members and the Trust.

We hope that you will agree that our Trust Membership fees are very modest at this stage and that you will consider joining us in this exciting and worthwhile undertaking.

Become a volunteer:

If the Trust is successful in its quest to acquire and manage Hartlebury Castle its ongoing success will depend upon an army of willing volunteers. Whether you can give a couple of hours a month or several days a week there will be something for everyone. Whether your interest is in admin or gardening, chatting to visitors or arranging flowers, handyman (or woman) or answering the phone there will be a job for you.  If you have some spare time and you believe that this place should be preserved for the public to enjoy then why not get in touch with us. 

Help us campaign

Hopefully this web-site gives you some idea of what the Trust is trying to achieve and how it wants the Castle to be a place for everyone to enjoy. We are still some way off acquiring the Castle and are campaigning to persuade the Church Commissioners and Worcestershire County Council that the only option that protects the Castle for now and the future is Trust ownership.

If the Castle falls into private hands there can be no guarantees about its future, however noble the intentions of any would-be purchaser. We need as many people as possible to make these views known to the Church Commissioners and local and national politicians. A small group of local people have come a tremendously long way, in a short time, to establish the Trust and make it a viable option to protect the Castle. We believe we have a responsibility to care for national treasures such as Hartlebury Castle and ensure they are there for our children, grandchildren and their grandchildren.
